Ice Cream Social with Troop 3

Monday, September 21 | 7:00–8:00 PM
Morrisville Presbyterian Church (our chartering organization — no affiliation required)
771 N Pennsylvania Avenue, Morrisville, PA

No fancy equipment, no freezer — just ice, salt, a bag, and a good shake. Come see how Troop 3 turns basic chemistry into a genuinely great dessert (and yes, it actually works).

Open to all current Troop 3 families and any family with a child ages 10½–17 curious about Scouts BSA. No pressure, no commitment — just a low-key chance to hang out, meet the troop, and see what we’re about.

What to expect:
🍦 Make your own ice cream from scratch — you’ll actually eat what you make
🔬 A quick, fun science lesson (heat transfer, freezing point depression — we’ll explain, promise it’s cooler than it sounds)
🏕️ Meet Troop 3 scouts and leaders and hear directly from them about camping trips, outdoor skills, and where the troop’s headed next
😄 Zero-pressure way to check things out before deciding if Scouting’s for you
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Younger siblings welcome too

Troop 3 is the oldest continuously operating Scout troop in Bucks County — 115 years and counting. Come find out why it’s lasted this long.

RSVP so we can have enough supplies for everyone:

Have a younger child too? Pack 3 is hosting their own Ice Cream Social the same night, right next door — check that out here.
