If you’ve been around for a while, then you know Troop 3 loves to climb. Mr. Chris has been teaching Climbing Merit Badge forever and most of our scouts have earned it at summer camp. However, they don’t usually get a chance to go climbing when they aren’t at camp … enter Rockville Climbing Center.
Since we didn’t have a meeting scheduled on Presidents’ Day, our Scouts decided this would be the perfect opportunity to go climbing. Only two of the scouts didn’t have Climbing Merit Badge yet – Eric & Michael. (Eric is planning to take climbing at summer camp this year). The scouts encouraged each other, tested their strength and flexibility, and even overcame nervousness to have a great time.
